Kubota B2601
I have a B2601 without a loader and want to put one on it. The LA434 seems nice, but I know sometimes there are aftermarket solutions that are just as good for less money.
What are my options for this? Is there a reason to only go with the Kubota loader?

Do these pop up used, or is that an unlikely scenario?

The odds of finding one used are pretty slim but not impossible, just depends on how long you want to wait to find one.

As for going aftermarket, I wouldn't, kubota does a really good job on pairing the factory loaders with their tractors and are very well integrated.
I've seen some ok aftermarket loaders but they are never as nice when it comes to the subframe and overall fit, plus any savings you might have are usually offset in resale value.

The one aftermarket loader I've seen pushed pretty hard for Kubota is Ansung, never seen one in person though so can't comment on quality, fitment etc.

If you want one in a reasonable amount of time and want it to fit right and just work, I'd go buy the Kubota loader. Used loaders for the smaller tractors are rare in my experience.

Does Kubota or the dealer ever run incentives or discounts on these when not purchasing with the tractor?

Is the Quick Attach bucket worth the extra ~$600 or so? I dont have any other things to use on the tractor, but I'm sure most of you know how implements tend to multiply as time goes on.

My advice is, whatever loader you decide to buy, get a universal skid steer type quick attach adapter. Tons more options at reasonable prices.
Oh, I have the Kubota LA504 loader on my B3200, it has the Kubota quick attach adapter for the bucket, which I dont really need, and the quick attach MOUNT for the loader itself. If I want to mow or do something in close quarters, I can take the entire loader off in under 5 minutes and put it back on just as easily, no tools.

My buddy bought a BX2660 with no loader. He bought a Woods loader for it. Only saved like $1000. Now he's realizing he wishes he would've went with the Kubota loader. He's looking to upgrade, and he's got the tractor on CL, and everyone that stops by is very hesitant because of the aftermarket loader or they want him to give a huge discount, because the loader is aftermarket.

There's nothing wrong with the Woods loader, it's just that now you have to deal with another company if you need parts, which can be a huge hassle.

I know when I needed stuff for my loader, I loved it, I went right into my local dealer and they even had the parts in stock.

So there is a trade off when you do go aftermarket on the loader.

When I upgrade, I am going to get the OEM loader for sure. No secondary thoughts or anything after witnessing my buddy's experiences.
