I want a finish mowing machine that has 72" deck, and is 4WD, because my 6 acres of grass are rolling slopes. I have a JD F935 front mower, but it won't handle the slopes. Also have a X595 garden tractor that handles hilly ground easily, but a 54" or 60" mow deck isn't wide enough.
Deere apparently only offers 4WD/72" front mowers as very expensive commercial grades. So I'm thinking a CUT with a belly mower is probably going to be the answer. Which leads me to ask what is the smallest yet most capable CUT, knowing that 75% of the usage will be mowing -- I would also like to use it for some other work. I'd prefer JD, or maybe New Holland.
Any thoughts would help. Thanks. Jim
