I found a local CL add for a Wallenstein Chipper/Shredder BX92r. Says it has <10 hours on it. Pictures aren't great, but it does show hydraulic feed. $5500 OBO.
First question - will my 4610 handle it? Online it says minimum hp is 65. 4610 is 62 and that's not at the PTO. Second question, fair price?
I am clearing 40 acres with a lot of brush, small saplings, and old growth walnut/oak/cherry that needs severe clean up. This chipper might be overkill, but it's the first time I've seen one pop up this year and I've been keeping an eye out.
Any thoughts appreciated.
