After mowing for a couple hours my hands and arms tingle from using the Gravely. So I started using padded gloves. Stihl makes a nice pair. STIHL Incorporated USA -- Apparel -- Manufacturing the World's Number One Selling Brand of Chain Saws These help out alot.

Hi! In India and other Asians countries They use very big 12-14-16 hp Diesel tillers . Here in past time we have had a lot of vibrate tools as chainsaws trimmers lawnmowers and most garden tractors with Kohler K engines vibrate a lot. etc Now new tools and garden tractors are isolate with Rubber mounts. New walk behind tractor as GRILLO 85D -131 and GOLDONI etc. Have AMORTIZED HANDLEBAR to ABSORBE VIBRATIONS . My Grillo with Honda GX 340 give me very LOW Vibrations. The Fast Tines and the rotor distributions Design product a VERY Smooth tiller. My old HORSE Troy- BILT Was a lot more hard machine. Thanks and Good Luck ! Oldmech
I agree Oldmech. My BCS 853 with 12 hp Lombardini has the new handlebar design with rubber isolation and there's no problem with vibrations.
Oldmech, I like the things you have designed, particularly the one wheel sulky. I'd like to build one of those one day. You are near Montreal, yes? (oui?). Every three or four years I go to Montreal on business. Maybe I will visit you to see the one wheel sulky and get dimensions to build one myself.

Hi ! For my Gravely Dek-Diesel I isolate Handles With Foam cushion . (I use Foam from 3/4 in. hot water pipe isolation but I look for more resistant) This help for reduce vibration.
