Very high engine oil level

If the hydraulic pump is mounted to the engine aux drive pad, and the shaft seal goes, it will fill the engine with hyd oil. ISZ

Local dealership has concluded the pump is at fault. They quoted 2200 pls tx to replace the pump. Ummm....No thanks.

Im taking it home and will try to rebuild with new gaskets and orings. Ive never taken a hyd pump apart and dont know what to expect. The svc manual is not very descriptive either and theres nothing comparable on youtube i could find. I guess ill see what happens when i start taking it apart. I may come back to this forum with some pictures and more questions...

Were you able to get a price on just the pump? I know the pump on my Kubota is about 700, 2520 should be pretty similar. Hard to believe labor or the part cost much more.

i can get a jd factory part from other distributors for about 600 usd. Dealers here charge way too much.
