Vertical Exhaust on 3320

Does anybody have the vertical exhaust on a 3320? I understand that you have to disconnect it to open the hood. If this is correct...what's involved in the process? Did Deere simplify it? Thank you.

Pull the top section off by hand with no tools. Open hood. Close hood and reinstall with no tools
