Versatile 500 tractor? 4WD, 160HP, articulated...

Does anyone have anything to say about the Versatile brand model 500 tractor? I am considering purchasing a 1977 Versatile 500 tractor with 5490 hours on it. It has been used to pull a dirt scraper. It has a 504 cu. in. Cummins V-8 diesel engine and is rated at 160 horsepower and 15 speed transmission. It has a 3 point hitch, with toplink, 3 hydraulic remotes and 1000 rpm PTO. It weighs about 15,000 pounds.

I want a tractor for personal use on my 41 acres of flat land in the flood plain. 14 acres is wooded and the rest is field that I want to maintain as pasture. I also want to maintain my 600 foot long gravel driveway that is about 11 feet wide. Is a Versatile 500 tractor too big for my needs?

so now I need to figure out how to get it from St. Joseph, MO to Sealy, TX (near Houston). My brother-in-law has family members on a farm with big diesel trucks and lowboys and is going to check with them.

I also need to find some things to pull behind it like a 15' wide 1,000RPM mower and a belly scraper.
