Vanguard oil filters............

I can't remember..............the engine oil filter for a 16 hp Vanguard V-twin............what does the Cub filter equate to in other filters? I think it's an AC P51 or P52. It takes the same filter as the old 2.2 Chrysler that was in the K-Cars. I just can't remember which one. I know the AC is a good deal cheaper than the Cub brand.

If you want to go extended length/capacity a fram PH3600 or equiv. works perfectly. I buy the napa/carquest equiv.

I believe that the Chrysler 2.2 used the Fram PH3614 which cross-references to an AC PF-53 filter. I use the PH3614 on my Cub 3235 since it works fine and is also used on 2 Saturn wagons in the family.
