I have an ingersoll tractor that has ahydraulic pto system on it with a vacuum hydraulic motor that is leaking fluid.Last year I had a new seal put on this by my local repair man.This year the leak is now much worse And he thinks it is the whole motor.I live in mass and very hard to find parts or info on this.The modle #is HVFB according to the book I have on this.Does anyone know where I can Locate this motor & how much it goes.The one dealer near me in mass. is on vacation,really cant wait-grass growing fast.The tractor is an ingersoll .4016.Thanks for your help

I had one of those machines once. I am confused by the vaccum hydraulic description. I don't know what that is.
Tractor engine direct coupled to a hydraulic pump. Hydraulic power to motor on the rear transfer case , mechanically shifter for speed range change.
PTO power is actually hydraulic through a couple of quick disconnects. Sound right? The mower has a hydraulic motor. I believe it is a special with double bearings to stiffen the support for the shaft.
The load on the shaft is overhung, Means no outboard bearing on the other side of the pulley that is on the motor shaft. That is not a good design, I had trouble with it leaking out on mine. Sold it as is , Had a tiller with it that worked fine and a front end loader on it that also worked. It was 18 hp gas.

I just read this post, and will try to figure things out. I have never heard of a vacuum hydraulic motor. However there are vacuum driven hydraulic motors. You can drive just about anything witha hyd motor, such a hydraulic driven water pump, hydraulic stump grinder, and what I think you have. A blower/vacuum driven by a hydraulic motor. Ususlly those motors have large bearings on the shaft to handle the side loads imposed by a single unsupported item like a flywheel. My stump grinder is mounted in a similar fashion. There should be a name on the motor, or you might take it by any hydraulic shop and maybe they can identify it, and even have the shaft seals. The name you provided does not sound like a motor manufacture, but maybe it is. If you can not find parts for the unit, you could perhaps find a replacement hyd motor with the same characteristics.

I found this. It does have a vacuum system on the back.and the impeller may be driven by a hyd motor.
