One problem appears solved… I hope.
It took reaching out to the city manager and I have learned just saying the city manager sent me will at least get attention.
The leased out parking lot done with city business tax certificate paid on gross receipts and a copy of the lease and copies of the last 3 rent payment checks received was enough to prove the parking lot isn’t vacant.
I was reminded that I will need to prove its being used annually going forward to avoid the 6k vacancy tax…
Thankfully the business that leases the parking lot is current on its city Business Tax Certificate!
