My vaaljapie starts well but engine stops after running for a few minutes.
the tractor runs on petrol engine. anyone with an idea of what the problem could be

As we all know, gas engines require air, fuel, and a spark from the ignition system to run, and it sounds like yours has a fuel starvation problem. I would check all the fuel filters, fuel lines and vent lines to make sure they are not clogged, and make sure the pump is giving enough fuel pressure. If all that checks out, maybe the carburetor?
