Kubota B7610,
AS a new Kubota buyer I need to know if I am going to have problems loading my B7610 with MMM onto a 16' utility trailer without hitting bottom on the mower deck. I was hoping to save some bucks by not buying a dovetail trailer (tandem axle of course). If anyone has any info to share please let me know ASAP. Also will there be a length problem if I mount a 3pt brush-hog? I will have a 352 FEL on. Thanks

Welcome to TBN. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I have a Big Tex 16' with Dovetail for my B2910. When putting tractor on trailer with Rotary Cutter. Cutter sticks out beyond trailer about 2'. Without the Dovetail it would be hard to load the tractor and Rotary Cutting because of it dragging when tractor is loaded. I'm happy with my purchase. But if I had to do it again. I would get the 18'. Your tractor is smaller and should fit on the 16'. See attached pic.

Trap,

I realize we are not to promote brands in the posting forums, BUT I have been very happy with my Gator Made trailer. It does not have a dovetail, but has longer ramps that are straight when in the up position. For loading and unloading, I find it as good or better than most dovetails, and MAN what a nice trailer!!!! For the features, pretty reasonable also. Before you commit to a dovetail, I would look at that trailer first. It would give you many of the same advantages, comes in multiple lengths and is really well made.

You sure can promote what you have and like in a general forum. Here is a link to Gator Made Trailers.
I prefer a trailer that does not have fold-up ramps. If you have a load that is longer than trailer. Ramps cannot be folded up. But then If I had a trailer rated for more than 7,000 lbs I would not want to be removing those heavy duty ramps. With the Dovetail trailer my ramps are about 4' long and can easily be removed and stored in the pockets provided on sides of trailer.

i have the B7510 with a 54 inch MMM: the trailor i use has slide out ramps, and it loads with no problem, when the MMM is lifted all the way up: now that said, if you forget and leave it down, it snags, naturally. when i load my M4900, i put some supports under the middle/back of the trailor, so it won't lift my truck off the ground. if i wasn't so cheap, i'd put a jack on each side to swing down, but the blocks i use work fine. that all said, i sure like the looks of a dovetail trailer: mine is 6x18: not a name brand, sold by a local independent dealer, and works great, for less $$$.
i am considering starting a part time business selling some of these trailers, i could buy a 5x8 tilt bed for $395. but there seem to be quite a few independents around here already?

I had a 2005 Kubota B6710 and bought a 2005 Big Tex CH70 Carhauler trailer back in July or so to tow it around. It worked really well. It was 16 foot with a 2 foot beavertail. The ramps were slide out style. They are stored on the sides of the trailer behind the rear wheels. I was able to get away without even using the ramps with the beavertail. I could drive up on the beavertail without unlocking and removing the ramps in the sides of the trailer. You'd think the beavertail would bottom out alot, but wasn't the case. I traded up to a 2005 Kubota MX5000 and used it a few more times (didn't exceed to weight limit until I bought and installed a backhoe). The week I bought the backhoe I went out and bought a 20 foot equipment trailer with a beavertail. Too bad your not closer, I could give you a good deal on the 2005 Big Tex CH70 car hauler now sitting in my driveway. I paid $2500.00 and would sell it for $1900.00. Whatever you decide to do, a beavertail is worth every penny.

I don't think you'll have a problem loading MMM on a utility trailer with pull out ramps. I've hauled small Kubota tractors with MMM's for years without a dovetail and never had a problem.

You'll be a little short if you load with a rotary mower, unless you load the bucket of the loader over the front of the trailer, then you may be a bit heavy on the front.
