I'm thinking of selling my 05 4720 with a 400x fel and a 448 backhoe w/330hrs e-hydro, not sure if I should just try to sell the backhoe or whole package. I used the backhoe a couple of times to dig out small tree stumps getting used to it. One of those things I thought I had to have and would use a lot but never do. I have a large 85hp 6405 and wanted something smaller to pull a rake, bushhog and carry 4x4 round bales. The 4720 is great but I think I may move up to basic no frills ag tractor. I don't know if I think to much or am just a tractor ***** always wanting something different.
I want to know what would be a fair price for the backhoe, tractor w/ fel and both together. And what you guys would recommend in a larger tractor to use as a back up for the 6405 that has got enough power and weight but is a little smaller with a open cab. I have a John Deere dealer very close but may look at other possibilities. I'm in SW Virginia.
