Used Tractor Tires and Wheels

Help from all, I have a John Deere 4200 with a 420 fel all sitting on R1 tires. I would like to find some used turf tires and wheels. The tires I have are great for heavy work, but for bush hogging and mowing, they sure do eat up the yard. Anyone have ideas?

Trying to figure out the same problem.......... I have seen sets of turfs run about $ 1000,but here is my plan

I am going to contact a tractor tire shop/store and see if they will mount a set of old bald ones on my rims. That way I shouldn't tear anything up. I had a buddy of mine mow Polo Fields with a White 105 (about 12000 pounds)and never tear up the sod cause all he had were bald tires

If I ever get back off the road and have some time to do this I'll let you know h ow they work

I have the opposit problem. I have a set of terfs on a JD 1050 and would like to have R1 or R4
