Used TC29DA vs TC33DA

I have an opportunity to choose between 2 used NH compacts, the 29 and 33. BOth are 2001 models and have 300 hrs each. From what I have seen, both are in EXCELLENT condition. The guy with the 33 is asking $13,900 with no attachments or mower. The 29 is asking $14,900 and that includes a FEL and 60" rear cutter and 72" rear blade. I know the 33 will take less cause he is advertising $13,900 or BO.

I was originally looking for a 33 hp tractor but wonder if I will really see much difference between the two. THe NH FEL loader is the same model for both tractors. I would need to buy a new one for the 33.

I am buying 30 acres of rolling pasture/timber. I will want to use the tractor to clear out a lot of brush, mow weeds, etc. I will also maintain a gravel driveway and eventually use it to landscape around a new house.

I have the TC29D and my loader was installed from the dealer for $2500.00 But I have heard to have a loader installed after the fact or aftermarket they ask a lot more for them. I would call a dealer to find out how much he would install a loader for and I would also recomend staying with the New Holland loader, not an aftermarket loader. This way you can compare pricing a bit better. The mower may run around $1,000.00 brand new and the back blade may run around $500.00. Not sure on the mower pricing or back blade but should be close. As far as the extra HP. I would tend to lean for the extra especially after now owning the 29.
