Used TC21D and used TC24D

Hi all,

Could anyone give me an idea on pricing for the following.

Used 2001 TC21D, hydro, with NH loader, little more than 500 hrs, asking $8900

Used 2002 TC24D, hydro, with NH loader, little more than 400 hrs, asking $9900.

Haven't seen yet but pictures look good. On a dealers lot and may have been rentals ( would bet on it actually ).

Any thoughts you could provide would be appreciated.

I'd be a little leary if they were rentals, but that's just my opinion. You need to look closely at the machine and ask for service records if available. Things to look at for example...sloppy pins for the FEL(I wore my 7106 out), any leaks, how smoothly the 3 pt and FEL operate, HST operation both Hi & Lo ranges, 4X4 operation including engagement and dis-engagement, how easy the tractor starts hot and cold, all fluid levels and fluid condition. These are just a few that come to mind. If in doubt, have someone experienced inspect it if your seriously interested in either.

The TC24D sounds like the better deal to me. While this might be a little outdated...2 yrs ago I traded in a 99 TC21D hydro with the NH FEL & MMM and it had 1500 hrs on it(I bought it new). Dealer gave me $10K for it.

I'd want to see maint. records (if any), and demo them for a day or two if they were rentals. If they both seemed sound, I'd go for bigger.

Agree that I would probably go bigger if is comparable.

How do they sound price wise ? What kind of a discount would you expect on them ?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
