I paid $425 for my new Howse last year. It looks like that rake has had every other tine removed. Where are you located? I was told that color Howse is special ordered for Moss Hill Tractor and their satellite location in Lumberton.

The guy lives in Silsbee. Said he removed half the tines for cleanup after Rita but has them in his garage.
I live near the JC airport.

Do a search on how to make the gauge wheels. They will cost nearly twice the amount you paid for the rake to buy a set. I have never had an issue without the wheels. I'm in Silsbee as well.

The wheels are expensive. I've run york type ranks for 40 years and even though I've always had wheels I rarely if ever use them. It's all in practice. I can do better work without by keeping my hand on the 3 pt lever.
many people on this list swear by wheels abd state that rakes are useless without them abd so be it. YMMV

That looks to be a very light rake. If you plan to put it on your L, go easy or you will kill it.

digicam, try the rake before you rush out and buy a set of gauge wheels. I've had a landscape rake for over 12 years and have never figured out how gauge wheels would have helped it work any better. I just added hydrualic angle to my KK Rake. I'd spend the money on getting a hydraulic cylinder added before I ever went with a set of guage wheels. Yesterday was the firts chance I had to try out the hydraulic angle and it was a real pleasure to use for the 3 hours that I worked it.
You might want to think about adding a piece of indoor-outdoor carpet to the rake. If you use it on a stone driveway or road the carpet helps protect the rear of the tractor from stone chips and your head from richocheting stones.

Sincerely, Dirt

Digicam,
If you are handy with a welder and willing to make your own gauge wheels do the search. Several members have made there own. If you have a Harbor Freight nearby they have some nice 8,10, and 12" dia. wheels on swivels for a decent price. I bought a set but haven't made mine yet. Even after buying the steel and your time you'd have under a hundred invested.

If you are going to do leveling, guage wheels help alot. I never remove mine. It should be easy to make a set. Just look at a set to get ideas. I bought mine, about $200.00 for them, but all I had to do is bolt them on.
