Used Parts Supplier for Kabota

Hi,
Thanks in advance for all of your knowledge and input. I have been parusing this site and this seems to be an active and helpful forum.:thumbsup:

I first performed a search of this forum for my answer but was unable to come up with an answer on my own so I thought I would ask.

My brother owns a Kabota B7100 engine #D750A and needs a cylinder head.
I helped him remove it when it was determined that there was water in the fuel.
Sent it out to a Machinist who M/Fluxed it and determined that it was irreparable.

So, my questions is: are there any used heads available, other resources or other innexpensive options for my Brother the Hobby Farmer?
Or will he have to pay close to $800.00 for a replacement head?

Some time ago I came across an outfit that specializes in salvage parts for compact tractors...

Kubota Tractor Parts: Transmission & Brakes || Weaver's Compact Tractor Parts & Compact Tractor Salvage

Don't know a darn thing about them, if they are on the up and up, what they sell, etc., so use your own good judgement about what is out there on the www.

You also see stuff on EBay like that... same cautions apply.

Tom,

Try Western Kentucky Tractor Parts - they are parting some Kubotas but I doubt you will find a running D950 - likely you will have to rebuild what you can find and go from there, as most B7100s are still out there running
