Used Landpride finish mower fair price

A guy near me is selling a 3 year old land pride FDR 1572 finish mower. Anyone have an idea of what a fair price is on that?

Also, it seems to have a max pto horsepower of 35. Any idea of what would happen using pto horsepower of 50 or so with it?

I priced a new Landpride last week for over $1700 at the dealer. I just bought a 4 year old kioti (sicma) for $800 and figure I got a deal.

I'd carry about $800 ($300 in one pocket, $500 in another). I'd offer the $500 and go from there.
Implements don't hold their value too well...except for chippers.

Thanks Roy - that's ballpark what I was thinking.

Aloways surprised how little implements hold their value, considering a well treated implement gets the job done just as well as a new one mainly.

I just sold a LandPride 25-60 on Craigslist for 500.00 It had some rust on it, and was rusted through in a couple places on the deck. People were lined up trying to buy it.
