Price Check Used KKII tiller price

This spring I am going to sell my KKII 72 inch tiller and buy a larger tiller because we are going to larger utility tractors for the farm. The gear box is rated for 70 hp and when spring comes we will not have a tractor that has less than 90hp to the PTO.

The tiller that is left at the farm has only been used twice and I think I am better off selling it than tearing it up.

Any idea what these are selling for in Ohio or WV? You can assume this one is in as good of shape as a used tiller could be. Thanks for input.

They don't show up on the used market very often. I've only seen 2 re-sold. One was mine. I bought it at an estate auction. It was almost new. That was 7 (+) years ago. I paid $990. I saw one sold locally 2 summers past. It was used, but not heavily. It bagged $1000. I'd guess a couple hundred under new price would be a starting point.

The new KKII is about $1000, so I think the used maybe not more than $800.

Better check that new price again. I haven't looked for a while but remember 72" closer to $1500.

Tell me where you can get NEW KKII 6' tillers for $1000. I have the truck warming up now and can be on the road in a few minutes. They sold for over $1300 6 years ago. The cheapest price on NEW ones around here is $1499 currently.

I just paid 1270. for a new 5 foot KK...and thought I did OK on the price. I cant speak for 6 footers....but used 5 footers seem to hold at the $1000+ level around here.....unless they look rough. High demand item.

Best price for a new KKII 6' tiller I found in my area last year was $1599.
The price has likely increased since then.

if I had one I'd be glad to sell it to you for $1,000 so I could go buy the disk I want that's only because that's about how short I am from the total price($2,200)

In western NC the TSC price is $1600.00 for 5' tiller and $1800.00 for 6' tiller both KK.

Last week the 5' tiller was priced $1499.00. I had found one in stock in my area and was planning to get it in the next couple of weeks. Now I need to call and see if they have increased the price.

I called KK to see if pricing was going to change this year due to steel prices dropping. They would not give me much info but I told them I was going to buy a KK or Leinbac (sp)brand. They said their price to TSC would be the same as last year but did not know, of course, what TSC would charge. Looks like TSC is increasing their price

I will call my store and see if I can still get the old price since it was a left over from last year. I'll let you know.

I agree with what has been said so far.. I'd start with $1000.00 maybe even $1200 and go from there. I'd try Craigslist or even Ebay.
