Price Check Used JD price?

I found a 2003 John Deere 2210 w/hydrostatic transmission, mid & rear PTO, 3 point hitch, power steering, John Deere quick attach front loader w/ quick attach bucket, 54" mid mount belly mower, 500 hours in a local classified for $9K.

That a good price? And what should I be looking for? Maintenance records etc?

That price seems very reasonable. I couldn't price out a 2210 on JD website but 2305 listed for about $16,749 with the same attachments. I am not sure of the major differences between the two.

500 hours on a 2-3 year old unit like this seems a bit high. Would depend on the maintenance performed and the condition of the unit.

If it were me, I'd be looking at other used JD's (check machinefinder) with fewer hours. My local dealer has a 2210 repo unit with 79 hours on it, 54" MMM and 200CX loader for ~$10K.

I bought a 2305 over the summer (new) for $13,780 same as above only with a 62" deck and a rear ballast box.
