Used BOBCAT CT225 Price

A JD dealer an hour away has a nearly new 2014 Bobcat CT225 utility tractor with < 100 hours, 4wd, 60" quick attach bucket, 60" heavy duty snow blower with a hydraulic chute & unloaded turf tires for ~ $19,000.

The dealer stated the engine is a Kubota.

Is this a good deal, or is there significant room for negotiation?

Nothing wrong with the tractor. I think you can beat the price. I have a ct225 and it has served me well. I have had some repairs but I have used it commercially over it's 1900 hours. The motor design borrows heavily from Kubota but is built in house.

I’m not 100% sure, but I don’t think they made bobcat tractors after 2012. That’s what I have, and it was a discontinued close out deal from a guy in southern MO that had 6 of them for sale. I paid around 12K for it, but it didn’t have the snow blower. I will say so far the ct225 has been a great little tractor for me. No issues, and I tend to abuse it a little.

Yes, sounds to me like the dealer doesn't have all the facts. I think $19,000 is to high.

Agreed , Price sounds a little steep. Bobcat tractors use Dadong engines.

Sounds very high. Front mount and 3PH mount snowblower is typically about double the price for the front. The tractor is made by Daedong. As is the engine. It's a Kioti CK25 painted white. MoPops makes a good point on the year as the relationship with Doosan (owners of Bobcat) and Daedong disolved at one point years ago, albeit it is being established again and we will see more Kioti's painted white in the near future. This JD dealer seems to be throwing a lot of nonsense round IMHO with few to little facts behind that wry salesman smile ☺. I'd do some serious price checking on similar used tractors to get a current market ballpark.
