Hi guys, Since you guys are the experts and I am new to this. I found a 1985 B6200DT 4X4 with manual trans and 48" mower. What is a good price for it? They are asking $7,000. It looks to be in good condition.

That does seem like a fair price,but do you know how many hours on the tractor plus the last owner?

What is your price range,for I will keep my eyes and ears open.

Have you check out the classifeds on this site?
If you have to keep shifting back and forth or plan to use the FEL lot,I would consider a HST....just my 2cents worth.

That may well be a good price, but seems a little steep for a manual transmission and no front end loader. Of course, a lot depends on its condition.

Thomas..--It has around 750 hours. Price range goes from the best deal to the high is around $10K +/- xxx.

Don't mean to sound stupid but what does "...FEL lot,I would consider a HST" mean? What am I missing. I know I had a late night but../w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif

FEL = Front End Loader
And you didn't mention that tractor having one.

By asking questions is one of the ways we learn...so ask away. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
FEL= Front End Loader.
HST= Hydrostatic Transmission
