Used 5\' KK finish mower value?

I am going to buy, at some point, a mid-mount mower for my 4100 and thus, will be selling my 4 year old King Kutter, 5', 3 point mount, finish mower. It has always been stored inside and is in good condition. What would a fair price be to ask for it? Not sure where to start. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

When I first got my tractor I looked at used attachments. Prices were 80% of new. Since new stuff came with a warranty, I just bought new stuff. So, if most people are like me, you'll have to price it less than 80% of new.

I see used 5' rotary cutters in brands like KK and Howse bring between $250-$350 at auction. Some ot those are pretty rough looking, too. I just bought a 5' KK. It was under $500 brand new. After looking at what $300 bought at auction, it was an easy choice for me.

That all having been said, I think you could get $300-$400 out of yours and maybe even a little more if it's in nice condition and if you clean it up and maybe put a coat of paint on it if it needs it (and, if it's like any other KK product, it needed it the day you bought it /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif ). Good luck with it.

A new 60" finish KK... ~ $899-999. on sale @ TSC...

...used, I guess would be whatever the market will bear...?

When I first realized my error upon reading John Miller's post I immediately went back and reread mine. I was so happy I'd at least written "rotary cutter" in it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
