I’m considering moving up from my 2006 2320 to a 3320. I happened to see one with 3600 hours just down the road. Any advice on how many hours is getting to be end of life ?

Like any used vehicle, it depends on how it was used and maintained. I have a '94 JD970 with 9700 hrs and a '09 JD4320 with 3200 hrs. The first thing I do on a used vehicle is change all fluids, filters and clean all screens. That can give you a good idea how it was taken care of. It is amazing how an owner will faithfully change the engine oil and neglect everything else. Coolant is a biggie. Just because it looks clean/good don't mean it is. Once the corrosion inhibitors are used up, all metals start to suffer. Hydraulics and gear boxes. Once the oil becomes contaminated from non service, damage is being done daily.

What is your operating elevation? Do you need a turbo? Does the tractor have a FEL? Do you need one? Is it gear or hydrostatic? For FEL use I like hydrostatic, for straight line pulling, I like gear.

Like most Deere compacts (except for the 4x20 series), the engines are Yanmar. These, in my experience, are very reliable engines and are good for 5000+ hours
