Used 3130 vs.3830

Normally I am with the 3400 crowd but started looking at the xx30s trying to find a deal. Did find a used L3130DT, bought in December, now with 10 hours for $15000. LA513 loader is the only downside. This was a second tractor and the rented excavator did it better and faster. Dealer willing to swap to a QA bucket for $700, no scratches on this one.

L3830GSTs are in the 21-22,000 range, 713 loader and QA bucket - 3140s harder to find.

I am tempted by the 3130, with some money down and 7.5% gives $380 a month for three years. On the other hand, the 3830 with the same down and 0% is $520 for three years. So $140 x 36 more for a 3830.

Trying to decide if I really need the 3830's abilities and price for chipping spruce (soft) and leveling/raking, plus the 3130 has realized some of it's depreciation. For my summer place so it will sit for half a year.

Any words of wisdom other than I can't have too much HP?

For the chipping the larger 3830's horsepwoer might speed you up a bit but otherwise they are both about the same tractors other then the transmissions.
