I priced one recently....the asking price was $12500 with a #70 loader and 60" Deere cutter. I offered $11000 and was turned down. This machine had around 300 hours, if I recall correctly. That was in June...the tractor is still setting there with the sign on it (as of two weeks ago).
New one goes for just over 15K (add another $800 for the cutter if you go with Deere) in this area.
Downside about buying late model used is you can't beat the interest rate for the new machines. It's really tough to sell late model used unless you really discount the price.
The really insane thing is I can get $6000 for my 12 year old 670 (that was the offer, but I never saw the cash).
Really kind of a shame...tough to unload late model tractors privately.
