Use my Yanmar for roofing?

After Katrina destroyed my roof and I had to put a new roof on by myself because help was impossible to find, people asked me how I was going to get 20 foot sheets of heavy guage steel on the roof by myself. I said I was going to get my yanny to help me. See attachment. Are there any strange things you have used your yanny for?

Excellent Job.

I have seen many pictures of assisted high lifting during re-roofing and it's the only way to go without others helping.

Although 'Katrina' hardly did any damage...'Rita' tore up several trees, house siding and roof damage. Took about 2 weeks to make repairs and clean up (using the Yanmar and FEL). Good luck,

While I've not had a need to do anything like this, one of the first things I did when I got my machine was to see if bucket could raise up high enough to lift shingles up on the roof. Yes it can!

Have used the bucket to lift me up high enough to do some tree trimming higher up than my ladder would permit.

beautiful home, glad you are restoring.

i recently used one of my yanmars to do a lot of stone work. the most recent was to place an 850lb landing stone in front of a doorway (e.g. threshold). Certainly no way i could have done anything like this myself... pic attached...
