- 2018 kioti DK5310SE
Hi all,
I haven't been on in a few years, currently a Branson owner, 3510H TLB. Very tough well built machine but underpowered for me at 7600'. I also had a very disappointing experience with the factory over several BH warranty issues so they will never get any of my money again.
With the complaining out of the way... I've always thought Kioti was a good value and a quality machine, they always seem to be in the lead on innovation too. 6 year warranty is nice also. I jumped on my neighbors last week and couldn't believe how much more power a 40hp turboed engine had over mine. The other option I wanted was a cab, 6 winters of clearing a mile of road and several driveways is alot of work for an underpowered nocab tractor in western WY. I mainly use a front mount hydro snowblower, at a snail's pace! Honestly my wife spends more time on it in the winter then I do and now that we have infant twins I want her to be able to take them with her if need be.
Sorry for the drawn out story of why. Here's the deal. I called 2 dealers, one could have one on a truck that day for $1000 less then the other so I jumped on it with out ever stepping inside a cabbed Kioti.
$32000 for the machine.
$575 for rim guard
$150 for bluetooth satellite radio
$1000 for front mount remotes (no I will not be using them for the blower.)
$100 for a complete oil and filters kit.
I'm happy with the deal, I think we pick it up this coming weekend. Since I bought a snowmobile and a cabbed tractor we'll probably have a lame winter.
I also want to mention I'm starting a side business of clearing lots of dead trees after a firestorm came though a mountain home community and burned 55 homes. It will be nice to have more power and a little more lifting capacity for my new venture. I've gone on enough. Thanks to all those that make this a great forum, I hope this gives someone else some info for their next purchase. Feel free to ask questions, I'll reply when I can.
Thanks again!
