up grade stock lights

My Ingersoll/Case 4020 has 32 candle power head lights
do they make different bulbs that are brighter
this tractor fourm is great Not too many Ingersoll guys though. thanks for the info guys

Welcome to TBN.

32CP is about like a brake light. There are a lot of after market lights, but can your alternator withstand the current that they'll draw?
That said, <font color="red">Warn Winch</font> has some ATV lights that are a little less draw than the 55 watt lamps typical on the aftermarket. These lamps are 35 watt and available in each (backup) or pairs (trail lights). You might also check JC Whitney etc.

Thanks hobbyfarm your lucky your in Texas .My alt .is 30 amp so power i think is there the head lights are a little dim .
compared to like a car will look around . thank you agin

30 amps of current should be plenty.

Ohms law:
Watts = Current * Voltage
30 * 12 = 360 watts available.

I'm pretty sure you can find 55 watts or even the 35 watts of the lights I refered you to.

I can tell you this, the first thing we put an extra light on was a Craftsman rider with an 8HP Briggs. It had about a 10 amp charging coil off the flywheel and it was almost enough to run one 55 watt tractor lamp. The lamp started off fairly bright and even when we were putting this thing away, it still had only dimmed some. Idle this thing and it was very dim though. It was able to extend our cut time by a couple of hours, but we did have to charge it back up over night.
