unlocking ring snaps

I tried searching for the answer on TBN first before posting the following question...promise:

How do I unlock the ring snaps that secure the yoke and shaft when connecting the snowblower to the quick hitch? Right now the male driveline is connected to the subframe driveshaft and it should be on the snowblower female driveline. I figured this out after spending about 30 minutes trying to perfectly line the connection up. Thanks in advance for any assistance granted.

I'm not sure on the snow blower, but for the mower deck on the famale end the outside collar just slides back and then you pull the drive shaft off. I would think the snowblower would be the same. It should be simple quick release. I think anyways.
