unloading manure from a truck.

anyone know how something like this works?? would it be too hard to build or if they sell a kit of some sort. I have a straight truck too big to turn the box into a dump. so Im looking at something like this.

See if you can get a look at a manure spreader, works the same way. Just a false floor with a pair of chains that run over and back under the false floor. A pair of driven sprockets at the tailgate end pulls the chains towards the back, and cross bars atached to the chains scrape accross the floor.

hauled silage with a versa box, it works basically the same way.
the chain is the same as many manure spreaders, the axles it goeas around are in front and behind floor, the door has pins that drop into the chain, so that it opens automatically.

the problem with converting an existing bed is you have to build a self supporting floor so there is room for the chains and bars underneath.

i built a spreader using an artex box, you can by artex or versa boxes for straight trucks.

the reason I want to convert my exsisting box, is beacuse I need this in mexico .
