Unload material from a trailer with SCUT?

Depending on how much dirt could be a lot of weight on the axles. Something like a landscape gate? you could - just a lot of changing bucket height/angle since you'd be scooping and driving up ramp at same time. I'd want something blocking up rear of trailer just to keep if from bucking my truck so much too.
Dump trailer might be easier to get material where you want it and unloaded quick?

An off the wall approach would be using something like a 4 in one (clam shell) bucket...

I've done it with mulch. I have ramps, saves a lot of shoveling, but doesn't work as great in practicality as it does in theory.

I've got a Big Tex Trailers 7 TV Tandem Axle Vanguard | Big Tex Trailers and a CUT. I've hauled two cu yds (5000 lbs) of gravel up the mountain in this trailer and used the CUT to unload it. I did add two extra legs to the tailgate to fit the tractor, but yours might fit the existing legs. I don't block the trailer. I had no problems at all. If you don't want to deal with the trailer jumping a bit, block all four corners.
Dump trailers are nice, but you trade capacity for convenience. I wanted one trailer that could haul material, brush, tree trimmings, or the tractor with FEL and box blade, all without having to install/remove/store sides.

I’ve done it and it helps. As mentioned earlier, if you block the back corners of the trailer it is a lot easier on the truck as you go up and down the ramps. Don’t expect to scoop it clean though!

Back the trailer into a bank so your ramps don't have much of an angle and it will help.

We have scooped out of the back of a dump trailer before. No ramps, when you can't reach in any further close it up and tip the trailer and slide the material back. We were putting mulch down and didn't want to have to sweep up a pile, also we could move the trailer to cut down the distance the tractor had to carry it. If you haven't purchased the trailer yet get a dump that will fit your tractor if this is something you plan to do alot. If not a tilt deck trailer may be a better option, there are no ramps to deal with some have power tilt others can be locked tilted. Most equipment trailers that have built in ramps will have "legs" on the ramps to keep the weight of the machine from picking up the back of the truck while loading and unloading. Dump trailers won't have ramp legs but most offer a jack kit to do the same thing but you have to remember to put the Jack's down. I prefer tilt trailers because of the wide range of things you can load that can't go up ramps and you don't have to deal with ramps!
