I have a VPN/Remote Desktop connection for work, but I cannot connect to the Remote Desktop when I use my home wireless connection, but it will connect for my co-workers. I can connect if I use a Cingular/AT&T aircard.
Back story I was able to connect when I used Earthlink as my ISP, but about the time I switched to Verizon it stopped working. I originally thought my problem was due to my modem being a modem/router (Verizon using a Westell 6100 modem). So I put the modem in bridge mode and that didn稚 help. Then I figured out my co-worker could get into the Remote Desktop without any changes to the modem settings.
Based on being able to connect via aircard but not connect wirelessly, and that my coworkers can connect without problems, I don稚 know what the problem could be. IF i wasn稚 able to connect via aircard I would think my Remote Desktop settings were messed up.
Any suggestions? Thoughts? Ideas?
