Oil & Fuel TZ24DA oil change

I just did an oil and filter change on my TZ24DA. I only got out about 3.25 qts plus whatever didn稚 drain out of the filter. I did the crazy slow oil pour to refill it and it only took about 3.5 qts to get to the top mark in the dipstick. The manual says 4.33 qts with a filter change. Running the engine seemed to make no difference. Could the manual be that far off?

Oil filter size. On some engines are 2 oil filters available, a smaller one and a larger one. Mind you, that it won稚 make that big of difference, but it will make a difference.
