Has anyone noticed a whining sound on the Sensitrack models? I test drove one of these beautiful, blue machines and can't get past that sound. When I drive red, orange and green...there is no whine. Thoughts?
Was you able to get hte tractor really warm. I know my TC29D will make a whinning sound but goes away once the tractor is warm. Otherwise talk to the dealer about it. Maybe he has an explanation.
Thank you for the response murph. Here is some more info:
The temp was 30 degrees. The tractor was running for 15 minutes or so and it did not seem to quiet down. I will ask the dealership on Monday as you suggest. The salesman I worked with on Saturday does not sell the TZs normally because he said he focuses on the excavators. A different sales person, who works with them everyday, may know. It would be nice if it can go away because I like the machine.
The tractor needs to have the cold weather filter installed and the oil changed to f200 I did this to mine before bringing it home (TZ18 Same hydraulics) and it has never made a peep.
There is update that dealers are doing (mine at no cost in my yard) . It is a heavy , stronger filter that may be required at temps below 15°F, mine started leaking at 0°F. DX24E which is same as TZ24. Lot af talk couple of weeks ago on CaseIH board. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
This website is amazing. I am only on my 5th post and already power of TBN is shining through. Now I want a tractor just so I can come back on and ask more questions to try and stump you all. Thanks again, I will call the dealer today and report back.
