This is a quiz on identifying cars from the 50's and 60's. Some are tough, at least for me. I got 90% on this. Try your luck.

*These cars were around in 1958 and 1959 when i was 17 and 18 years old so I was very familiar with them .
I only missed 2 of the questions but should have gotten them all .

Not to brag, but I got 96%, I only mixed up the Willys and Henry J...was 9 years old in 1960 and LOVED cars, my dad had a '54 Chevy, '57 Ford, '59 Ford, '56 Mercury, at various times, and I could identify just about any 1950's model easily at that age.

That red '58 Pontiac wagon kinda threw me, I had to narrow that one down by process of elimination. Gonna tell you guys something funny...

When I was trying to learn math at about ten years old, I told my mom I couldn't seem to learn it, she told me quote: "You know the make and year of every car on the road, why can't you apply that kind of learning to math too....?" :laughing:

BTW, it does help a little that I have been subscribing to Hemmings Classic Car for the past nine years....

Oh, and one or two more wrong, I guess. Got a 92%. Not bad for an old fart.

Only got 75%, missed most of early 50's.

Got 100%!! Of course I'm old enough to have had a ride in, or owned all of them at one time or another.

What I liked about the cars they built prior to about 1970 was they were pretty DISTINCTIVE looking...and it was easy to tell one make from another. Wife's car today is a silver Saturn L-300 4 door....do have any idea how many cars there are on the road that are "mid-size-silver-jellybean-too" ....Jeez, when I go places I see cars that resemble hers a hundred times a day or more.

I had taken the quiz earlier and think I received a 90% or so on it and I had the same issue with the Willy's. I loved cars when I was young and still do. Like a lot of members here and I often take a trip down the nostalgia highway. That's great fun too. Happy Sunday fellows, enjoy the ride!
