I looked at a T25 today and was impressed. I only glanced under the tractor and it seemed to look as expected. When I got home, I looked at the brochure and it specs the ground clearance for the T25 as being less than 8 inches, which is about the same as my subcompact JD. I should've crawled under. I don't know how min ground clearance is specified. The Kioti CX2510 which seems to be a similar size as the T25 is specd at over 13 inches. Perhaps this is a case of specmanship.

Could T25 owners comment on the ground clearance?

Yeah, that doesn't seem quite right, that seems more like the ground clearance to a CK.

That 13" is probably ground clearance other than at the axles... you know how you lift a truck to get *so much more* ground clearance ;) *eyes pumpkins suspiciously*

The ground clearance is measured to the center of the wheel? I'm more interested in the clearance when I'm straddling a rock etc. while moving over it. My JD has the hydraulic filter right in the center of the machine and only 8ish inches off the ground. I knew this early on and have always been careful about that.

The TYM ground clearance being to the center of the wheel makes sense now. Because when I glanced under the T25, it seemed to have pretty good ground clearance to me. I was wondering if there was something lower to the ground that I didn't notice.

Center of the wheel is just a SWAG. It cannot be more than that. It is almost assuredly less as the axle takes up space, too.

Clearance should always be the lowest point, period. You cannot drive that CX over a 13" rock unless you have at least 1 wheel going over it.

One recurring problem with tractor stats is that there isn't a standard for measuring...see lift capacities.

The clearance at the axle is probably the control. But the brochure/specs might be for a unit with a midmount PTO and mid mount mower bracket.

Looking at brochures I have, and the dimensions listed on the "TractorData, com" site: My T293 with the 14X17.5 R4 Industrial wheel tire combo has 9.8-inches of ground clearance. The T233 with the 12-16.5 R4 Industrial tire and wheel combo has 12.65-inches of ground clearance. Interesting, since with the exception of the tire/wheel setup and the horsepower they are the same tractor. With all parts except those specific to the different horse power Mitsubishi S3L engines, and tires/wheels being the same. So, I have always thought they would have about the same foot of ground clearance if I didn't have the snowblower stuff mounted.

My T293 does have less ground clearance than the T233 though, because it has a midmount PTO, and the pto/drive shaft and frame for the front mounted snow blower hang down about 4-inches.

The T25 has the same front axle and transmission as my tractors, but a different engine. But, if it is a longer stroke engine it might have a deeper oil pan, which could lower the ground clearance.

The lowest point of my T25 is the rear hitch, which is 9½". The subframe for my backhoe comes in at the same 9½".

I think the error is on the CK stats. The tire diameter is 12-16" the clearance cannot be greater than the radius or 6-8".
A 12-16 tractor tire is one which fits on a 12-inch wide, 16-inch diameter wheel. Depending on the tire type the outside diameter of the tire will be roughly twice that.
