Hi:
The price seems high, I just purchased a new Tufline 60" box scraper for almost $100 less and I really hope that a B2400 will handle it since I just bought that too.... Hope to get them both this week.

The price is high. I paid $550 for a new 72" Bush Hog, very well built.

Saxby Implement, just south of Rochester. How does the B2400 work for you in winter. I am going from a JD345 lawn tractor that I had a snow blower on to the B2400 with FEL and back blade. Will I miss my blower?

The Tuffline Box Scrapers should go for about $100 per foot new. I have a 7' model and I paid just under $700 new. New or used probably does not matter much in box blades however, as most have few moving parts to wear or break.

u won't have a problem with out blower, i live in the snow belt and we get mega snow, and my b2400 handels it all with just the fel and back blade. may take a little longer, but i like having the fel on, another choice is the fel with rear mount blower. all personal choice.

I have a B2400 with a 4ft. Landpride box scraper that I got for $430 new. The B2400 will handle a 4ft. easily as far as power is concerned. But i feel that having Ag tires is a must. I have R4 industrial tires filled with water and they are the weak link in sand. You will spend more time slipping with any tire other than Ag. Maybe chains would help.

the B2400 is a little monster. If it has the traction, it will pull nearly anything.

As far as snow is concerned. The FEL I used in 18" of snow last year, was great. I also use a 6ft. rear blade and plowing was never so easy or so much fun.

frank_f15,

I too am in wny and called this guy about his bb and his rake for $550 each. This was about a couple months ago and I see it's still in the paper. When it first come out I offered him $750 for both and he said he could go to $500 each and I let him sit on them. Now about 2 weeks later I called back and ask him if he plans on going lower than $1000 for both and he said no so there they still sit. He either doesn't really care to sell them or he doesn't know what they cost new. I think he probably got took at the dealers with the cost and has to get so much out of them. Oh well I will now buy new in the Spring if this guy won't go down. When was the last time you talked to him and what offer did you give or did he say? Thanks and talk later.

Darin
