TSC suspension seat-anybody tried it?

Due to back problems, i am thinking about adapting a suspension seat to my 1610D. Im tall so also wouldnt mind if it was a couple inches higher.

Tractor Supply has a universal suspension seat but i wasnt able to tell much about it or measure bracketry since they didnt have one out of the box. Has anybody tried this TSC seat with lil' Yanmars?

Any other reasonably priced suspension seats that might work?

I have used them on a couple of tractors. They are comfortable. They do set higher, that is why I only used it on a couple. There is a seat to steering wheel issue. The last Iseki I put one on was just barely doable. Your knees were very close to the wheel.

I bought one and it wouldn't fit on the stock mounting without a lot of work and it interfered with the Hyd control, I took it back. Fredricks has a seat that will mount right on, thats supposed to be nice, havn't seen it yet. But to answer your question I put one on a Massey a while back and it was nice. set for your wieght and float along.

I knew they sold stuff to put on seats /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif but not seats themselves.

I've had one for 4-5 yrs. It sits higher & closer to the steering wheel. Climbing on now is climbing in to the tractor. A fast get away off is out of the question. But, I have cut @ 1/2 - 3/4 hrs off my mowing. It is FAR more comfortable than the original seat.

Here's one of the rear.
I removed the bumpers from the old seat and mounted them to the frame where the seat sits on them. I took the tension spring off the 3pt lever and cut it in half then moved it to the outside of the lever so it wouldn't hit the seat.

VERY COMFORTABLE!!!!
