The day after Thanksgiving.
Cyber Monday is the Monday after Thanksgiving for people that didn't find what they wanted on Black Friday and go back to the office on Monday and start surfing to find it.

The day after Thanksgiving, the biggest retail day of the year. It's called "Black Friday", because in the past, this day would determine whether a retailer would be in the black (make a profit) or in the red (lose money) for the year.

If you got some spare time on your hands, go to a Wal-Mart or K-Mart and watch the people go nuts. I used to go all the time. I'd see fist fights between women who were going after the same thing. I've seen people knock 27" TV's on the floor (they were still in the box). I felt like I was back in DC on the subway with people pushing and shoving to get what they wanted. You will be amazed at what you see in the stores.
Sort of reminds me of the kid who was standing in line Tuesday evening to get a PlayStation 3 and the news guy asked him about playing it and the kid promptly told him it was an investment. Buy 2 or 3 at $600 each and sell them on e-bay for $2,000 each.
