As others have said, get the MSDS info; and locations ARE supposed to keep copies on file since employees handle the stuff. Most places will not have loose leaf handouts, but a binder with the info which can be either viewed at location, or copied. The problem is with the minimum wage help, most don't know what they are, when updates/changes arrive in the manila envelope, they just get tossed somewhere, plus the chance of a store selling a very low toxicity product getting a surprise visit for compliance is slim to none. Did you check the small print on the bucket for a phone # or web site?. I bet the store manager is both right and wrong; when I bought my sliding barn door rollers there a while back, I looked over the Traveler line and it is a large product line, so Shell may make some of the products; probably antifreeze at least, and there may be several suppling other products in that line of products, which may or may not be the same at all parts of the country, nor all times of the year. I had heard Warren supplied some of the oil.
