I found an old Ferguson sickle mower in the back pasture. It has two ID plates on it but all I can get out of them is the word Ferguson. Its a three-point sickle. However, I cannot figure out what the bar does that sticks out in front of the mower, and what the two attached chains are. By the attached photos, can anyone identify the mower, and maybe how it hooks up and works.
