Wow. Grade school stuff and she was stumped.
I guess basic math is not on the CDL exam.

We have to remember, not all the drivers were A students. Some graduated with D's as in D da D da Dumb.

or woman :D

Trucker Destroys Historic Bridge Because She Didn't Know How Many Pounds Six Tons Was

And I thought those motor jockeys from north of the border were bad. :confused2:

First off it was a woman not a man, you have a gender issue.

Secondly, door slammers aren't the brightest bulbs in the box anyway.

Finally, she obviously has a height perception issue, the bridge isn't 13'6".

I'd say her driving days are over.... off to public assistance like the majority of Americans today......sigh.

That was clarified in the second line

Got your attention though

I'll agree her driving days are probably over as fast as they began :D

WTF... she was AFRAID TO BACK IT UP?!?! How does one get their CDL and not be able to back up? Any yet, still decided to go anyway?

I remember quite a few years ago now, back in the 70's, there was a semi driver delivering a trailer load of product to a distribution center on the south side of town. He wheeled into the yard and went and told them they could back his rig up to the unloading dock saying that he didn't back the trucks up but the warehouse workers weren't truck drivers so he sat for a couple or three hours until he decided it was either him back it up or it would never get unloaded. Hard to believe but as far as I know it's true.

If you can't back it up, then you got no right driving it ahead and should leave the job to the real drivers.
I question how she got a CDL as well.

I'm interested in the height of the bridge. I've looked at google maps street view and there is no height signage at all. There should have been something somewhere giving the height. If it is as low as it looks should have been on bridge also. Doesn't look like her tractor sleeper roof scraped the bridge though.
