The engine is a Tecumseh H35-45572P and the governor linkage that goes on the shaft that come out of the engine fell off as I was trying to adjust it. There is just a slot that goes over a flat spot on the shaft and when I go to slip it on the the shaft, the shaft slides back into the engine. How do I reattach this part and What holds in place? I've had real hard time trying to get those two pieces timed to actuate the governor properly. It seems to go full throttle with no control or just a little above an I idle. And does anyone know what would be full throttle RPM's for the Tiller. I have bought a tach yet but was thinking of a Harbor freight infrared hand held tach. Has anyone use one of these tachs on a small engine? bjr
