The GardenWay TuffCutt is a great machine, I bought my M# 10750 from an estate in 2003. I used it for a year or so on 1/4 acre lot in the city, then "retired" it when I got a Simplicity lawn tractor. I have since moved to a country setting, a house on 2.2 acres, over half of which I am fighting to reclaim from various weeds, bushes, etc. Yesterday, out of necessity, I drug out the TuffCutt, which I haven't even started since about 2005. Same gas, same oil, nothing special. It fired up on about the 10th crank and I used it for about four hours, clearing maybe 1/10th of an acre. It hardly sputtered and made quick work of the weeds, vines and other "junk", during a thunderstorm no less!. Now reminded of its versatility, I will now...I SWEAR...start giving it the proper TLC to keep it running for years. Right now I need two tires and some belts, will change the oil and clean/replace the spark plug and sharpen the blade.
I will return to this forum for any updates on parts sources.
