Troubleshooting a Robin EH65

My Laymor LB25 has not been running well. Whenever i put load on it it wants to stall. I figured out that for some reason it intermittently stops firing in the cylinder on my left hand side. I pulled the plugs and cleaned them and checked all of the connections and found nothing missing.

I also removed the plastic on the front and found no missing or out of place wires. I cleaned the surface of rotor and checked the gap for the coil and didn't find any issue.

Is there something else i should check before replacing coils that could cause one cylinder to not fire?

Check your valves. One could have loosened up. That seems to be a fairly common problem on Robin Subarus. You might also want to ask some folks in the PowerTrac forum. Lots of folks with that same engine over there.
