In 2005 we bought a 2003 Regency conversion Tahoe from a dealer in San Antonio for my wife. Sales manager had driven it for a demo, it did not sell and the 2005s had come out. Paid $36K for a $56K vehicle. It was a really nice vehicle except it had 20" aftermarket rims and we did not like the ride. It also did not have a tow hitch so we traded it for my wife's 2008 pickup.
Be careful of aftermarket work and the effect on the warranty. Some parts are dealer installed and covered by factory warranty. What we were not told at time of sale that only that dealer or Regency would do warranty work on that vehicle as the exhaust (chrome headers and dual exhaust), brakes, tires and rims, body, interior and suspension were no longer stock. We moved to East Texas and the vehicle was broken into and the nav and DVD systems taken. Fortunately I knew that Regency was in Fort Worth and I took it there for repairs after the insurance paid off.
