Nice, I want a Water Buffalo too

a nice addon to it would be to add a PTO Water Pump. In this thread Tree Sprayers , post #7 has a link to a reasonably priced PTO Water Pump.

Just think of the expanded capabilities:
Fire Fighting
Portable Wash Down (pressure washer would work too)
Large Acreage Spray System
+ more I'm shure

? you may already have a pump ? the pictured water does look murky as if it was pulled from a pond ?

Assuming that water weighs around 8.5 lbs per gallon, the trailer is carrying about 2500 lbs. I dunno what the rating of the trailer is.... but I'd be real careful pulling it at any real speed. That said, should be a really handy tool.

yeah it is only a 2000 lb cap trailer. i only filled it to about 200 gal. and i only use it behind the tractor for now. seems to work ok.

tank was only 75 bucks so that seems like a steal

and yes i use a 5hp two inch transfer pump to pull out of a pond type area. it fills it in probably less than a min.

Here's one we use...You can pump the water in from a creek using the large valve on the side and the green hose up front. The smaller valves in the back are set up for garden hoses.

at first i mounted my pump on my trailer, and then it took forever each time to prime the pump, it could be because my pump is old. but now i just leave the pump by the pond and use gravity to empy the tank.

Nice trailer

The tubs are called IBC's (Intermediate Bulk Containers) .... They come in very handy. You can usually get these for around $25 used. For watering applications, I would recommend that you purchase ones that were used to transport food or food ingredients. You can search the web for local places to get them or check for local places on eBay. The only issue is that the threads are not typical on the spout (metric maybe?)

If you cut the top off, they also make great firewood carryalls

They are very handy to have laying around

my spout was a standard two inch thread size, but it was one of those that you could either screw on or use the banjo type quick connector.

I purchased mine for about 80 dollars. but even at 80 dollars they go pretty fast when they are available.
