Oil & Fuel Transmission oil change 2305

Am having trouble re-installing the transmission suction screen. When you re- assemble screen in transmission housing the back and front of the screen fits into circular slots at each end and that is the problem . I get the back slot fine but housing slot causes the problem .......ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED FOR SURE.

I remember having to fiddle with it. Don't remember exactly how but one end fit better and that held it straight enough to get the cap on. Sorry not much help.
